FarFaria Subscribers Read More Than 5x the National Average, with 2 Million Stories Read in 1st Year Popular Children's Storybook eBook App, FarFaria, Celebrates its First Birthday This Week

SAN FRANCISCO, April 18, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- FarFaria, a top ranking children's storybook app, is celebrating its first birthday by announcing record-setting reading engagement and exciting new directions. Since the launch in April of 2012 over two million stories have been opened in FarFaria with subscribers reading more than five times the national average each week. Additionally, 25% of subscribing families are making FarFaria part of their day-to-day, reading in the app for their nightly bedtime routines. In the short span of a year FarFaria has truly proven that it's approach helps kids develop a passion for reading and encourages families to read together. 

To build on these successes FarFaria will be expanding its interactive story browser. Based on the popularity of existing sing along books "Five Little Monkeys" and "The Green Grass Grew All Around," FarFaria announces the release of a new land: "Sing Along City."  Sing Along City will be launching with a dozen sing along eBooks with four more to be added by April 25th.  Additionally, on April 26th, FarFaria will release the highly anticipated sequel to its most popular title, "Ashipattle and the Giant Sea Monster."
