CHARLOTTE, N.C., Oct. 20, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Firebirds Wood Fired Grill, a polished casual restaurant that features classic American cuisine infused with bold flavors, fresh herbs and spices, opened its 35th location in Gainesville, Virginia. Dennis Thompson, cofounder of Lone Star Steakhouse & Saloon and an original owner of Fox and Hound Bar & Grill, and Doug Glendenning, former president of Lone Star, opened Firebirds Wood Fired Grill in 2000 in Charlotte, NC. Firebirds credits its success to providing a full-spectrum dining experience enhanced with local flavor.

Firebirds keeps the experience fresh by offering seasonal selections such as its upcoming Winter Features menu and Limited Time Offer wines, including Flor de Campo (Flowers of the Vineyard) Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.
