Health Information Designs completes Sanovia acquisition
AUBURN, Ala., Dec. 16, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Health Information Designs (HID), a leading provider of clinical services including prior authorization solutions, announced today that it has completed the acquisition of Sanovia Corporation, a company which specialized in prior authorization workflow applications. Sanovia has now been fully-integrated with Health Information Designs, and the legal entity has been dissolved.
The transition of Sanovia, based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, enhances HID's uniqueness in the pharmacy administrative services market. HID will continue to leverage Sanovia's knowledgebase in the Medicare Part D space, specifically around CMS Star Ratings and health plan audits.
