Hennessy Enlists Automotive Legend To Drive Redesign Of Privilege Bottle
Former BMW Design Chief Chris Bangle Modernizes the Curves of Iconic Hennessy Privilege Bottle
NEW YORK, May 29, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- In celebration of innovation, Hennessy commissioned legendary automotive artist Chris Bangle to modernize a signature member of the Cognac family. Hennessy, the world's number one selling Cognac, recently unveiled the redesign of the Privilege bottle at an exclusive affair in downtown Los Angeles. The redesign is the bottle's first significant alteration since 1954.
Hennessy selected Chris Bangle (of Fiat and BMW fame) to guide the redesign because of his vast industrial design experience and his talent to artistically incorporate the product's exceptional history while opening doors to the future. Chris brought his daring and novel style to the emblematic Privilege bottle, accentuating its curves, restructuring the pedestal base, and adding refined touches to the main label.
