CHICAGO, Dec. 10, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Over the weekend, Hyundai Motor America donated 1,000 winter coats to Instituto Del Progreso Latino (Instituto), an organization dedicated to improving the lives of Latino Immigrants and their families. The coats were distributed to 500 families during a special event on Saturday, December 6, 2014. More than 600 community member were joined by organizational leaders, and representatives from Hyundai Motor America.

Instituto Del Progreso Latino is committed to providing education, training and employment programs to Latino families that foster full participation in the U.S. and preserve cultural identity and dignity.

Hyundai's winter coat donation program is in its fifth year and has supported various community organizations nationwide, including Focus:HOPE in Detroit, Centronia and the Central Union Mission in Washington, DC, The Boys and Girls Club of San Antonio, and Park Pride in Atlanta.
