SANTA MONICA, Calif., Oct. 27, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- MD Insider, a big data healthcare innovator that significantly reduces healthcare costs for employers, announced today that Michael Fertik, founder and CEO of Reputation.com, and Jared Carney, CEO of Lightdale, LLC, have joined the company's Board of Directors. These latest additions to an already impressive team, will provide even more support for MD Insider's impressive growth plans.

Fertik, recently named Entrepreneur of the Year by TechAmerica, is a member of the World Economic Forum Council on the Future of the Internet, and is a recipient of the World Economic Forum Technology Pioneer 2011 Award. He is also co-author of the bestselling book, "Wild West 2.0" and "The Reputation Economy" (Crown, forthcoming in 2013). Fertik founded his first Internet company while at Harvard College. He received his JD from Harvard Law School.
