The Unpakt Network includes a series of reality television parodies inspired by the moving industry while the #UnpaktReality social media contest allows for creative consumers to dream up a reality parody of their own for the chance to win cash and prizes totaling $10,000.
Recognizing consumers' opinions of moving as challenging and frustrating, the Unpakt Network was launched to debunk the perception that moving is always stressful and overwhelming. A series of reality television parodies will illustrate the lighter side of moving, in line with Unpakt's mission to provide consumers with a hassle-free move. The series includes:
- America's Next Top Mover – America can now compare mover talent for the title of America's Next Top Mover. You be the judge of who offers the hottest prices, best image and perfect package.
- The Moving Truck Whisperer – Gone are the days of random mover selections. Consumers now hold the power to make educated decisions about their mover through research and comparison.
- Mover Wars – All's fair in moving price wars. Americans can now lock-in the best prices for their moves.
- MoveBusters – Proving that finding a reputable mover is crucial, the truth on moving is revealed.
In conjunction with the launch of these comedic short videos, Unpakt is activating a social media contest to give the public an opportunity to contribute to the campaign. Tasked with naming the next moving industry-inspired reality show for the Unpakt Network, participants will have the opportunity to win cash and prizes totaling $10,000, including Bose SoundLink® Bluetooth® Mobile Speakers, Rachael Ray 10-pc. To enter the contest, participants are invited to post their reality television parody suggestions via Twitter by tweeting @Unpakt with their idea and the hashtag #UnpaktReality. Multiple entries are encouraged.
The submission period will run from Tuesday, June 18th to Wednesday, June 26th 2013, and the winner will be announced on Friday, June 28th.
