ATLANTA, April 17, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- "Submit the Documentary" an award winning cyberbullying film has had over 100 private screenings in the United States and Canada requested; launches its first anti-bullying campaign: #NoBystanders. The film is about four families that are devastated by the suicides of the children, along with expert testimonies about the growing problems of cyberbullying, and it includes the real opinions of teens who are bullies, bystanders, and victims of cyberbullying.
Stop Bullying and Speak Up: The anti-bullying campaign promotes the idea of bystanders and their role in cyberbullying. Bystanders greatly out-number the victims and bullies in cyberbullying. Tweet #NoBystanders to be entered into the campaign contest. Winner or organization with the most Tweets that include #NoBystanders will win a free private screening of the film with Producer Les Ottolenghi to present the film in their town or organization. Full contest details: http://www.submitthedocumentary.com/antibullycontest/. Contest ends May 1, 2013.
"Submit the Documentary" announces it's adding the song "Perfectly Imperfect" to the film's soundtrack. Alexandra Kelly's song "Perfectly Imperfect" was recently seen on USA Today with her efforts to help support the Tyler Clementi Foundation and the Rutgers University Tyler Clementi Center.
Justin Patchin of Cyberbullying Research Center said,"Submit includes the requisite stories of those who have been affected most deeply by cyberbullying. Tina Meier, Donna Witsell, John Lowe, and others who lost their children as a result of, at least in part, experience with cyberbullying remind viewers that these behaviors cannot simply be ignored. We can learn a lot from what happened to Megan, Hope, and Johanna, and shame on us if we don't do things better the next time."
"Submit the Documentary" wins "Honorable Mention in a Documentary Category" at the 2013 Buffalo Niagara Film Festival. Take action with "Submit the Documentary" and Tweet #NoBystanders. To request a free private screening world-wide please visit: www.submitthedocumentary.com/screenings
