Joan graduated Cumm Laude from University of Akron (Akron, OH) with degrees in English and economics, and obtained teacher certification from University of California, Los Angeles, CA and is licensed in California and Colorado. Joan's experience includes teaching to secondary English language students (all levels, 7-12th grade) and on-line teaching (8th grade). Joan's recent professional development courses at University of Northern Colorado gave new perspectives with inclusion of primary sources from the Library of Congress.
Dan graduated from George Washington University (D.C) with a M.Ed., in educational technology leadership. Dan spent most of his career in marketing medical devices, holding executive positions. His passion for improvements in remote communication led up to co-developing this out-reach program to help adults & students, of all ages, improve their diction and voice.
