The Economic Club of Las Vegas Hosts Nationally Recognized Economists To Discuss the National and Global Outlook at December 16 Event
LAS VEGAS, Dec. 8, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Economic Club of Las Vegas will bring three of the leading national and international economists to Las Vegas on Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at 5 p.m. at Caesars Palace Hotel and Casino. The "2015 Economic Outlook" panel discussion will present national and global perspectives on the current state of the economy and the forecast for the New Year.

The distinguished speakers' panel includes:
- Ken Simonson, chief economist for the Associated General Contractors of America. Previously, Simonson was President of the National Association of Business Economists and senior economic advisor in the U.S. Small Business Administration's Office of Advocacy. Simonson also worked with the President's Commission on Industrial Competitiveness, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and the Federal Home Loan Bank Board.
- Lynn Reaser, Ph.d., chief economist at Point Loma Nazarene University. Reaser is also the chief economist of the Council of Economic Advisors for California State Controller John Chiang. She previously served as the President of the National Association for Business Economists, chief economist for the Bank of America Investment Strategies Group, and chairman of the American Bankers' Association Economic Advisory Council.
- Michael Wolf, an economist with Wells Fargo Securities, covers the United States and regional economies. He writes indicator reports, special commentary, and contributes to Wells Fargo's weekly economic and financial commentary. Wolf also measures trends in compensation for the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
