Developers now have open access to use the company's powerful REST-based API to add feature-rich email and social media marketing functionality to their business applications.

Developers can, as part of the application they've built, give their customers access to VerticalResponse's easy-to-use drag-and-drop email marketing tools to create and send email newsletters, promotions and invitations that look great on any device, and also share those messages on social media with one click. Customers also can easily upload contacts, group them into lists, and send targeted, meaningful email marketing campaigns and promotions that drive business. VerticalResponse provides detailed reporting on the delivery and engagement of each campaign, so customers can see what works and how to optimize future campaigns.

The VerticalResponse API empowers developers to quickly and easily integrate the platform into their application. Through the VerticalResponse developer portal, users can request an API key and access API documentation and VerticalResponse's interactive console to test specific API calls. The API documentation features detailed explanations of each method type and robust sample code hosted on GitHub. Additionally, the API recently received Intel Mashery's DX ("Developer Experience") certification, one of the highest standards in the industry.
